IMPACt
IMPACT is for youth from 7th grade through 12th grade .We will be
meeting on Saturday evenings starting in mid March 2010. A formal start date will be added to this site, so check back. We
will be meeting in the Annex next to the church. It has enough room for the group to meet together for worship and rooms to
hold individual groups such as one room for art, another for a youth band; we can cook in the kitchen, etc. We want to create
a safe place where youth can get together to worship and explore their interests, where they can learn about our Lord and
the IMPACT he made on the world, where they can come, have fun and make an IMPACT in their own lives and the lives of those
around them.
During our first year we will be focusing on the following topics: IMPACT your Life IMPACT your Family IMPACT
your Friends IMPACT your Church IMPACT your Community IMPACT the World We will
be using the Bible to explore how Jesus made an IMPACT in these areas and how you CAN make an IMPACT everyday and show God’s
love to those around you.
We want to encourage the youth to be both participants and leaders in IMPACT.
You can help plan the Bible lessons, lead us in prayer, join in the band, get involved in the different activities that will
be going on, help plan outings, community service activities, and even mission trips! You can be as involved as you like,
if you do not like leading a group or talking in front of people, no problem! There will be plenty of things to do
and learn.There are also plenty of ways for adults to get involved.
