Experiencing GodLenten Study Group
YOU’RE INVITED TO DEEPEN YOUR FAITH
This Lenten season, the Board of Deacons is sponsoring an experience — not just any experience, but one that we hope will help us all experience God.  The truth is, we have all experienced God but life has pushed in on those experiences and God has been pushed out.  This Lenten season, we hope to expand our awareness so God is put back in.
BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP
Enroll yourself in this process.  Work through the forty daily devotions in the study guide entitled, Reality: 7 Truths from Experiencing God.
COME TO THE THREE SMALL GROUP MEETINGS
On Tuesday, February 23rd, March 9th and March 23rd, small group meetings will be held.  One will be at the parsonage from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.  The other will be at the home of Elise Erikson from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.  These meetings will be fun, not giggly kind of fun, but rewarding.  We will hear from each other and learn together how God is moving and calling us to deeper discipleship.
THIS IS A ONE-TIME OFFER!
Lent comes only once in the Christian year.  Here’s a chance to get closer to the God who has always been close to you.  Join us on February 14th for the important launch lunch (don’t you love the alliteration!)

Bible Study - Please note this class will begin again after Easter

Come and be a part of a new Bible Study Group.  We meet the second and fourth Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel.  At our meetings, we read the scripture being used for the next Sunday, discuss some of its historical, cultural and literary background and then the fun begins!  We ask what the passage says to us, about us, for us.
